Loving Out Loud

This luncheon is held in Feb. or March and it exemplifies James 1:22. "Be ye doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves". This event is held at the Mountaingate Restaurant where we spotlight local lights in our community who usually get no recognition. Bible characters have come to life at this affair.

Big Birthday Bash

Held at the American Legion in May or June, our honorees enjoy fellowshipping together as they celebrate all birthdays on one day. We have entertainment, play games, tell jokes, and everyone gets a gift.

Centenarian Luncheon

Gladchuck's restaurant is the designated place for our 100 year olds. This outing is exclusively for our most senior of seniors and their families and is held in August. These are the cream of our crop and there are seven centenarians to date and four of them are pictured.

Attitude of Gratitude Banquet

Our largest affair is the essence of what the Honors Class is all about. We thank God for our seniors, the paths they have had to walk, for their never giving up and for God allowing them to still be with us to record their histories and to relay much needed wisdom daily. We always want to stay in an Attitude of Gratitude to God for all He has given us. This banquet is held either the last Sunday in November or the first Sunday in December. Our prior events have been held at the Red Horse Restaurant, Musket Ridge Country Club and Dutch's Daughter Restaurant. The entertainment has included a speaker and a soloist, a gospel group and/or a band ensemble. The seniors receive their greatest amount of gifts at this affair.
